Our outdoor season has been very busy this year. The concrete pavement and new benches on the pistol range certainly add a nice touch to the outdoor pistol range. We are in the process of having new security cameras installed on the outdoor ranges. We will be doing a range maintenance on the outdoor ranges on Saturday, October 3rd from 8 AM ’til done. We could use a few extra bodies to carry the burned railroad ties and target boards to the dumpster. We will have some brush that was recently cut down that will have to be put into the dumpster. All you need is a pair of work gloves. Extra volunteer help makes the job get done sooner.
The V.I.P. pistol league shoot off was held at Black Ash Outdoorsman Last week ( Sept. 20th). Only three teams showed up. Walnut Creek came in last. Tom Zawistoski was the only Walnut Creek shooter to shoot.
We have a proposal and price on the table from Card Heating to install a furnace in the attic just for the indoor range. We are waiting for the officers and directors to vote on it.
