We now have all new LED lighting in the first floor meeting room. Many thanks to Director Tim Innes for installing all six of the new lights. We are in the process of having a new high efficiency furnace installed in the entrance room on the first floor. The furnace will have two zone thermostats, one for the meeting room and kitchen, and one for the 2nd floor office and 2nd floor meeting room. We are also working on some kind of heat for the indoor range. As of this writing, there is no heat on the indoor range.
Since there is no heat on the indoor range, the status of our pistol team is in limbo. We usually have our team shoot in the Western NY/PA Pistol League from October to April. The team usually shoots on the indoor range, but there is no heat.
Just a reminder to everyone: SIGHT IN DAYS will be taking place the last three weekends in November, specifically the 10th & 11th, the 17th & 18th, and the 24th and 25th. The fee is 3.00 per gun. You need not be a member to come to SIGHT IN DAYS. Everyone is welcome. The hours for all three weekends will be 9 AM to 4 PM, rain or snow, cold or warm. As usual, check in first at the club house, pay your fee, have your guns checked, then proceed down to the rifle range. Once there you may sight in your rifle, or our range officers can do it for you. Be sure that your guns are unloaded befor you leave for the range. No loaded weapons are permitted in the club house (for obvious safety reasons). We will have ear plugs for sale, as well as loaner safety glasses.
